STEP 7 Layer in standard pillows.

This is where I layer in my standard-size sleeping pillows. Because I use all white sheets, they fit perfectly into any bed color scheme and pillow combos. I place them right in front of the euro pillows—fluff them really well before you lay them down.

STEP 8 Add decorative pillows.

I love to add a stripe or smaller print that ties the bed color scheme together. On a king- or queen-size bed, I use two or three pillows here, and then one throw pillow in the front. Have fun with this, because this is where you can add some personality.

STEP 9 Add a throw blanket.

The last thing I add is a lightweight throw blanket. Placing this at the end of the bed makes it easy to grab and curl up in a reading chair or pull it over you while lying in bed. Sometimes I even keep a little basket in the corner of the room with a few extra throw blankets rolled up.
